Aircraft Hardware West recently completed a re-racking project in their main warehouse to a new state of the art racking system. With steady growth and continued large volume buys to support recently won contracts, AHW had a strong motivation for taking on this ambitious project to enhance their infrastructure. The result?  By completely removing and replacing all existing racking with a new and expanded racking design, AHW has created a more highly efficient environment which maximizes inventory capacity.  

Extensive planning for this project started back in early December and its completion came to a close in mid-March. Along the way there were many drawing revisions, pallet re-organization, and subtle adjustments to make this project a success.  During the overhaul, AHW continued to do business as usual, providing the highest quality of service without any delay to our customers.

"The recent renovation to our warehouse has increased its capacity and efficiency to pull and ship orders, furthering its ability to better service existing and new customers for years to come" says Lindsay Vaughn, Operations manager for the AHW Long Beach facility.  Miss Vaughn continued her operations support of the business while project managing the warehouse re-design and implementation.
