In preparation for a Boeing approval to the exclusive D1-4426 list, AHW decides to comply with the aviation strict quality control system of AS9120.  At the request of major manufactures supplying parts to AHW, Boeing and Department of Defense (DOD), AHW will revise its quality systems to comply with the technically intensive quality system of AS9120.  "Currently the AHW quality system is certified to ISO9001:2000, but after careful review of the customer requirements of recently won business, and the requirement to supply Boeing certified parts to Boeing subcontractors worldwide, AHW will begin retrofitting the current quality system to be in compliance by second quarter 2010." says Lindsay Vaughn, Operations Manager.  Currently AHW has quality approvals from major airlines and OEM's worldwide.  "With an AS9120 certification, the AHW quality system will provide customers the assurance that parts supplied to them are manufactured and distributed in compliance with the highest level of quality." says Frank Ioffrida CEO & President.
